TEACHING OF GERMAN IN SCHOOLS/EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND LANGUAGE RELATED PROJECTS.

GOETHE-ZENTRUM CHANDIGARH is actively engaged in the promotion of German in Schools and educational institutions. Vivek High School, Sector 38, Chandigarh, and the Paragon Senior Secondary School, Sector 71, Mohali are already our Pasch-Partner (Partner Schools for future) since December 2008. Every year two students from each of these schools are sent to Germany free of cost to take part in the Youth Camp for three weeks. Goethe-Zentrum Chandigarh/Goethe-Institut provides support to Vivek High School for Students' Exchange Program with German schools.

German is also being taught in St. Kabir School, Sector 26, Chandigarh, Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh, DPS School, Sector 40, Chandigarh, Vivek High School Sector 70, Mohali and Chitkara University, Banur, Rajpura, Punjab in collaboration with Goethe-Zentrum, Chandigarh/Goethe-Institut.

Scholarships for Germany are offered to brilliant students for attending language courses and German teachers for attending seminars every year free of cost for a period 2 to 8 weeks.

If you are interested in starting German in your Institution, Goethe-Zentrum Chandigarh/Goethe-Institut will support you in teaching material, teaching quality and study material.
